High quality Moroccan leather men's slippers / mules, made for us by 'Marrakchi' craftsmen in the souks of Marrakesh. The leather used to form each pair is cut from the same hide, ensuring colour uniformity.
These slippers are hand-stitched to a lightweight waterproof sole, making them suitable for wearing outside as loafer's
The craftsmen who produce these slippers are known as Mellum's. We are proud to be associated with the largest leather co-operative in Marrakech, and that all the Mellum's creating our products are paid a decent living wage.
As you can see in the enlarged images provided, the standard of workmanship is exceptional. These were personally sourced and individually chosen by ourselves, we check all stitching at point of purchase.
The leather used in their construction is of the finest quality and is suitably heavy for the purpose, unlike cheaper imitations. The soles of these slippers are only suitable for indoor use, please see our other listings for waterproof variants.
